How a Movie Gets Made

Vizionaire Productions and Ten Pound Hammer have opted Zoe Bell to star and stunt as Tyger Blake, the savage and tragic superheroine. Zoe came to fame as the double for XENA, WARRIOR PRINCESS,
then launched to new heights as the double for Uma Thurman as The Bride in KILL BILL.

Zoe reports she's "thrilled" to get a chance to both star and do the stunt work. "TYGER TYGER is a fascinating and challenging character to play. I look forward to putting on the stripes and getting in front of the camera."

Working alongside Zoe will be Jeannie Epper, the World's Most Famous Stuntwoman. Jeannie has stunted in movies and TV for years, has literally been in everything that involves a woman in peril, but is perhaps best known as Lynda Carter's double in WONDER WOMAN. Jeannie will act as Stunt Coordinator and help cast the role of four female villains from her wide net of stuntwomen friends and contacts in the industry.

February 13. CE contacts potential investors in Hollywood and around the world. Per their requests, he posts a 250-word synopsis and a 2-page synopsis on the site. Plus an email link to request the Business Plan, Budget, or Script.

February 4. Ken and Zoe meet up at Venice Beach and shoot some early poses. See one and another.

January 22. After a week of blood, sweat, and tears, and a whole lot of phone calls and Internet research, Clayton finishes the first draft of the TYGER TYGER Business Plan and Budget Spreadsheet. (Sheesh!) Email if you want to see it.

January 13.  Received replay from Peter Dinklage's agent re: playing Piano Man.  PD is "very interested" in the project, also very busy, but wants to be kept updated as financing gets closer.

January 12.  First production sketch from Ken Penders incorporates Zoe's costume requests and Clayton's annotations.

January 11.  Approached Peter Dinklage (THE STATION AGENT) to play the suave villain Piano Man.

January 7. Added links to trailer for DOUBLE DARE, Zoe's Unofficial Fan Site, and sample script pages.

January 5. Jeannie Epper, Stuntwoman Supreme (Wonder Woman, Six Feet Under, and too many other stunts to count) signs on with a Letter of Interest to be Stunt Coordinator. (Whew! There just isn't any better talent.)

January 4. Clay Emery and Hilton Belle pursue investments and get a few nibbles. OMDC sends links to many fabulous locations in Toronto perfect for filming TT.

January 3. Zoe Bell signs Letter of Interest to star in TYGER TYGER.

January 2. Discussions among Zoe, Clay, and Hilton re: Tyger's backstory. More mysticim? Hilton planning to go to Toronto in Jan/Feb. Looking for investors and on-screen promotions.

December 16. Talked to Janice Reid Johnston of the Ontario Media Development Corporation. Yes, it's possible to shoot in the Toronto Zoo: it's been done. The OMDC will review a script, assign a scout, and make up a list of possible locations. The producers can then visit to survey the site. Very helpful.

December 15. Web site launched.

Talked to Hilton Belle. We both want to see a package deal: the movie, comic/graphic novel, lunchboxes, action figures, Underoos, etc. Might talk to DC Comics or Dark Horse Entertainment about it.

December 13. Jeannie Epper reported "excited" about working on TT.

December 10. Zoe Bell agrees to starring role.

December 7. Clayton Emery, Screenwriter, and Rod Hilton Belle, Producer, decide to go ahead with TT and recruit some "attachments". Zoe Bell is Emery's first and only choice for the lead.

December 5. Rod Hilton Belle expresses interest in fronting TT provided we can sign on some attachments.

December 1. Clayton Emery posts the blurb for TT on-line. Rod Hilton Belle requests a copy and immediately falls in love with it.
