After a week of blood, sweat, and tears, and a whole lot of phone calls and Internet research, Clayton finishes the first draft of the TYGER TYGER Business Plan and Budget Spreadsheet. (Sheesh!) PD is "very interested" in the project, also very busy, but wants to be kept updated as financing gets closer. January 12. First production sketch from Ken Penders incorporates Zoe's costume requests and Clayton's annotations. January 11. Approached Peter Dinklage (THE STATION AGENT) to play the suave villain Piano Man. Hilton planning to go to Toronto in Jan/Feb. Looking for investors and on-screen promotions. December 16. Talked to Janice Reid Johnston of the Ontario Media Development Corporation. Yes, it's possible to shoot in the Toronto Zoo: it's been done. The OMDC will review a script, assign a scout, and make up a list of possible locations. Talked to Hilton Belle. We both want to see a package deal: the movie, comic/graphic novel, lunchboxes, action figures, Underoos, etc. Might talk to DC Comics or Dark Horse Entertainment about it. December 13. Jeannie Epper reported "excited" about working on TT. December 10. Zoe Bell agrees to starring role. December 7. Clayton Emery, Screenwriter, and Rod Hilton Belle, Producer, decide to go ahead with TT and recruit some "attachments". Zoe Bell is Emery's first and only choice for the lead. December 5. Rod Hilton Belle expresses interest in fronting TT provided we can sign on some attachments. December 1.
